The new Stiletto I7 from Blizzard Lighting

Blizzard Lighting Releases Stiletto I7

The Stiletto I7 is the newest member of Blizzard’s Stiletto family. It’s a multi-effect moving head with infinite rotating gobos. It has beam and wash capabilities with seven 15W RGBW LEDs. It has a pan/tilt of 540°/270° and a variable beam angle of 4-60°. The infinite bi-directional rotating lens allows the fixture to zoom for a nice spotlight or put on a show with aerial effects. It has 27-channel or 55-channel DMX modes, as well as standalone, master/slave and sound active modes. Stiletto I7 features ultra-smooth 32-bit dimming, an internal fan cooling system, and tons of built-in auto and sound active programs. These fixtures are equipped with a user friendly 4-button LCD control panel, compact and sleek housing, industry standard PowerCon compatible power in/out connections, 3-pin DMX in/out jacks, and is backed by Blizzard’s 2-year warranty.

Allen & Heath has launched two new iPad apps for its dLive line of audio mixing systems: dLive MixPad and dLive OneMix. dLive MixPad provides comprehensive remote control of the live mis and dLive OneMix focusses on personal monitoring. dLive MixPad offers extensive control capability over channel processing, including filters, gates, parametric and graphic EQ, compressors and input/output delays, and gives the user instant access to any of the mixer’s channel faders and mutes, DCA faders and mutes, pan, aux sends and assignments as well as mic-pre control and full metering. dLive OneMix is a version of the dLive MixPad app that locks control to a single aux monitor mix to give the musician customized personal monitor control without affecting the other monitors or FOH main mix.

The new COB Cannon Wash DW from ADJ is a powerful wash fixture that features a “dynamic white” COB – Chip On Board – LED light-source. It combines warm white and cool white LED sources on a single LED chip to allow smooth and shadow-free blending between the two color temperatures (3000K: Warm White and 6500K: Cool White). This allows users to easily change the color temperature at any time, while its Static Color Mode allows easy selection of 8 different pre-programmed color macros that run the spectrum from Warm White to Cool White. . Located at the center of a concaved reflector dish, the COB DW LED users 150 watts to generate an even beam. It has a wide beam angle of 80-degrees, but also has 50-degree and 40-degree lens kits.

ETC’s new Unison Paradigm Mobile Button Station App turns a handheld device into an eight-button station for Unison Paradigm systems, giving users more control from more places. The app enables users to configure up to eight individual buttons to control everything their Paradigm system can. Users will be able to recall lighting presets, combine spaces, control zones, and record, activate, and deactivate presets all from their phone or tablet. All standard Paradigm touchscreen themes are available from within the app and it is available for both Android and iOS devices. Paradigm Mobile Button Station App is compatible with all Paradigm Control Systems running version 3.1.0 or newer software.

The RCF M18 unit and the MixRemote 2.0 app

RCF M18 Tablet Mixer Updated, Available on iOS and Android

Initially released earlier this year with only Apple iOS compatibility, the RCF M18 tablet mixer is now functional with both Apple iOS and Android operating systems.Coupled with that, a new firmware version allows for updating the M18 with the MixRemote 2.0 app that provides enhanced functionality that includes several improvements and additional processing effects. Enhancements include the expansion of amplifier modeling simulations, licensed from Overloud, an acoustic simulator, as well as four additional Stomp Box style effects. Other additions include an audio metronome, DCA and Mute Groups, backup and restore functions via USB, additional mute controls and expanded MIDI implementation. The stereo file player will be expanded to allow four-channel playback, representing one of the few compact mixing solutions with multichannel playback on the market.

Chauvet’s Colorado 3 Solo made its LDI debut last month—after premiering at InfoComm earlier this year—and users are liking its multiple capabilities. The Colorado 3 Solo has a wide zoom range (8°-45°), an intense output from three 40W RGBW LED engines, and a IP65 rating that makes it capable of use just about anywhere. Homogenized optics allow the three LED engines to produce a single homogenized beam, and has a color temperature preset range from 3200K to 10000K. It has DMX and RDM capabilities.

Blizzard Lighting’s new ProPar I7 is designed to deliver an even wide wash, a tight mid-air parallel beam, and multi-beam aerial effects and "kaleidoscopic" like projections. It is powered by seven 15W RGBW 4-in-1 LEDs in a sleek housing. There’s a four-button LCD control panel on the back of the unit which gives users access to many options including DMX mode selection, three auto run modes, two sound active modes, master/slave settings, plus other professional features such as menu key lock, menu flip, display shut off timer, run time info, and motor + LED testing modes. It also has built-in static/dynamic effects that can be run in auto, sound active, or via 23/51-channel DMX with full control of every aspect including the effect shape selection, speed, fade, color, transition, and shape offset between multiple fixtures, plus dedicated effect background dimmer.
