Fun Home the Big Winner at 2015 Tony Awards

Jacob Coakley

Fun Home was the big winner at the 2015 Tony Awards, taking home five awards, including Best Musical and nearly making a complete sweep of the categories it was nominated in. The King and I won for Best Musical Revival. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time won Best Play, and Skylight, by David Hare won for Best Play Revival. It was the first Tony win for Hare. A theme of the evening was inclusion—who was let in and who was left out, with speeches from Lisa Kron and Natasha Katz addressing issues of artistry and identity. More on that, the full list of winners, and video of the craft awards—not included in the broadcast—after the jump.
