Chicago Apollo Theater Adds 270-Degree VUE Line Array Solution

Originally constructed in 1976, Chicago’s Apollo Theater recently completed an extensive renovation that includes a full VUE audio solution designed by New York-based Sensorium AVR. The newly renovated 438-seat theater features a three-quarter thrust stage and audience seating configured in just nine rows for an intimate and accessible theatrical experience.

Karen Zacarias’ Destiny of Desire, An Unapologetic Telenovela in Two Acts is aptly subtitled. The raucous, freewheeling play within a play, makes absolutely no apologies as it follows the lives of two Mexican women (one born to wealth, the other to poverty) who are switched at birth. For its recent run at Chicago’s Goodman Theatre, Lighting Designer Pablo Santiago incorporated some Chauvet Professional Rogue R2 Wash fixtures into his light plot.

Mega System Dicolor LED Backs up the Riders of the Purple Sage

Riders of the Purple Sage was Arizona Opera's first world premiere and featured brand-new, state of the art production equipment. The new equipment provided by Clearwing Productions included a massive LED video wall, an upgraded LED lighting system, and console. A total of 248 Mega Systems’ Dicolor Phantom 5.9mm video panels were used to create a 56.6’W x 26.6’H wall that proved successful for the show and drew national attention to the Opera.
