Lectrosonics announces the availability of a selection of Digital Hybrid Wireless® microphone products now in the recently expanded 941-960 MHz frequency band for the United States. Products available in this new band are focused on field/production and ENG sound and include the SRc-941 dual-channel modular portable receiver, the SMV-941 and SMQV-941 miniature belt pack transmitters, the HMa-941 plug-on transmitter, and the HHa-941 handheld transmitter.

Built in 1878, Cincinnati Music Hall has long housed performances by the Cincinnati Ballet, Symphony Orchestra, Opera and more. Its ornate architectural features earned the building its status as a National Historic Landmark by the U.S. Department of the Interior. Nearing 40 years since its most recent renovation, the venue needed a major remodeling to improve its infrastructure and audience experience. To execute the revitalization of Cincinnati Music Hall, while maintaining the integrity of the building’s history, designers and project managers quickly pulled in ETC.

Audio-Technica Expands Trade-In Rebate Program for 600 MHz Wireless Systems

Audio-Technica, an innovator in transducer technology for over 50 years, has expanded its existing trade-in program for 600 MHz wireless systems to now include the new 3000 Series (4th Generation) and 5000 Series (3rd Generation), as the industry moves away from wireless systems operating in the 600 MHz band (614 to 698 MHz), mandated by law as a result of the ongoing FCC wireless spectrum reallocation initiative. The program, which runs through March 31, 2019, is designed to help wireless users switch to a new system that accommodates the new guidelines outlined by the FCC.

Mean Girls, the stage adaptation of Tina Fey’s 2004 film of the same name, features a Tony-nominated sound design by Brian Ronan, with the assistance of his associate, Cody Spencer. The duo has worked together on a dozen Broadway productions, of which Ronan has taken home awards for both The Book of Mormon and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, underscoring his reputation as one of Broadway’s most sought-after sound designers.

Build a team of creative professionals and then develop a production proposal that could become a mainstage show. You must submit an Intent to Apply by August 20.
