RC4 Wireless Makes Lights on Sinatra Sing

With time tight and tension high Harrison Cooke, senior production electrician for the new London show Sinatra: The Man & His Music, turned to RC4 Wireless and their RC4Magic Series 3 DMXio wireless DMX transceiver to run LED lights on two moving stair units and a curved stage deck. Also, to help run the lights on 16 rotating LED panels, RC4 Wireless designed, developed and delivered a brand new product, the RC4Magic Series 3 DMXmrx miniature DMX receivers (2.40" x 1.41" x 0.79”) in just three days.

Makeup Standard Released

PLASA published the new standard ANSI E1.55 - 2015, Standard for Theatrical Makeup Mirror Lighting, describing the topology of a makeup station in the era of LED light. The standard was developed at the behest of Actors’ Equity Association, as part of the Technical Standards Program’s “Common Goals” initiative, which aims to use their technical expertise to help other organizations in the entertainment industry.
