Enttec Releases ELM LED Mapper

Jacob Coakley

Enttec worked with LightJams developer to create a new pixel mapping solution: Enttec LED Mapper, or ELM. The ELM comes in three versions: 16 universes, 96 universes and the 512 universe version.  There are three levels of licensing: the Student edition controls 16 universes worth of LEDs;  the Professional edition controls  96 universesl; and the Architectural edition encompasses up to 512 universes. Layouts are created with vector-based objects that can be quickly resized, stretched, deformed, or moved around on the screen. Shows can be built in stages, and those stages can be layered on top of one another. Video files, still images, camera feed and live streams can be moved effortlessly into the slots in the ELM library. A professional video loop library is included as well. Enttec will display this new software in their booth (#161) at LDI.

Martin Announces Atomic 3000 LED Strobe at LDI

Jacob Coakley

Martin’s new Atomic 3000 LED Strobe combines a traditional strobe with the advantages of LEDs. It offers the same brightness as its predecessor, but with substantially lower peak power consumption. Not only a strobe, the Atomic 3000 LED incorporates backlight illumination with RGB-controlled LEDs pointing into the reflector to deliver eye-candy looks similar to the MAC Aura and the MAC Quantum Wash. It includes internal FX macros and simplified re-use of the original color scroller. It will be on display at the Martin LDI booth.

Enttec Introduces 8PW and 8PX Lines of LED Tape

Jacob Coakley

Enttec's new lines of pixel tape, the 8PX (RGBW) and the 8PW (W), are individually addressable and suitable for stage and architecture applications. They can be joined together, cut to a smaller length, and are available in three different densities: 30, 60 and 144 pixels per meter. Both the 8PW and the 8PX tape are backed by 3M adhesive double side tape, making application even easier; both feature a 120 ° beam angle as well. The 8PX is a full color LED tape that includes white. The 8PW LED tape celebrates white in three shades: Warm (3200K), cool (7500K) and amber (1765K). Enttec will display this and more at LDI in booth #161.
