The USITT 2018 Early Career Honors session will feature Daniel Lerner, instructor of the popular NYU course The Science of Happiness and author of U ThriveIn using positive psychology to help people lead happy lives, Lerner’s key message is that developing a healthy (and happy) psychological state has a profound impact on the pursuit of excellence.

Lerner is a faculty member at New York University and part of the teaching staff at the University of Pennsylvania. He integrates storytelling, humor, and science, helping students and executives apply his teachings into their lives with immediate benefit.
