Rose Brand’s new Rags to Riches video contest is accepting applications up to Nov. 7.Rose Brand launched a new competition, The Rags to Riches video contest, that challenges theatres to create a short video (under 1 minute) explaining why their stage is most deserving of a new curtain. Videos will be featured on the Rose Brand Pinterest and Vimeo pages and the one with the best combination of creativity and entertainment (as judged by Rose Brand) along with likes, shares and organizational need will win a new main curtain worth up to $10,000 for their theatre. The deadline is Nov. 7, 2014.

Secaucus, New Jersey–September 30, 2014.

Rose Brand announces The Rags to Riches video contest, a nationwide casting call to find one lucky stage in desperate need of an upgrade. Contest entrants must create a video (under 1 minute in length), explaining why their stage is most deserving of a new curtain.

Video submissions will be featured on the Rose Brand Pinterest page and Rose Brand Vimeo page.  Rose Brand will judge the applicants based on a combination of creativity / entertainment value of the video, likes received on Pinterest/Vimeo, and organization need. Videos can be re-pinned and liked or shared on other social media sites for more exposure to potential voters.
