McCarter Theatre Appoints New Board Members

The McCarter Theatre named Leonard J. Berlik, Victoria Hamilton, Anne Van Lent, Tamera Matteo and Jim Huang to its board of trustees.

MCCARTER THEATRE CENTER WELCOMES INCOMING BOARD MEMBERS

PRINCETON, NJ: McCarter Theatre Center is pleased to welcome five incoming members of its Board of Trustees: Leonard J. Berlik, Victoria Hamilton, Anne Van Lent, Tamera Matteo (all of Princeton) and Jim Huang of Cranbury, NJ. 

All will be joining an existing roster of outstanding local leaders, arts advocates, supporters, and business professionals dedicated to the support and growth of McCarter Theatre Center, Princeton’s Tony Award® -Winning theatre.

Leonard J. Berlik, of Princeton, is an accomplished senior executive with extensive commercial experience both here and in Europe. Len is a management consultant with clients spanning the globe from corporations the US, Europe and Asia as well as major private equity firms. His non-profit endeavors include work with The Catholic Charities of Trenton and the Princeton Health Care System Foundation, which supports the development of the University Medical Center at Princeton.

Victoria Hamilton, of Princeton, is a corporate attorney representing start-up companies and high net worth private investors. In addition to her private practice, Tory has been an active community volunteer, serving on the Grants Committee at the Princeton Area Community Foundation; on the Board of the Princeton Symphony Orchestra and as a commissioner of the Princeton Environmental Commission.

Jim Huang, of Cranbury, is the Founder and President of the Kai Yue Foundation Corporation, a private foundation with the mission of supporting local culture and art programs including programming at Princeton Day School, Carnegie Hall, the HX Chinese School in West Windsor and several other organizations. In addition to his charitable work, Jim is the Founder and CEO of Vivace Investment Partners, a hedge fund based in West Windsor.

Tamera Matteo, of Princeton, is an active community volunteer who has served on the boards of The Corner House Foundation, the Princeton Adult School, and various commissions within local government. She has also been a CASA volunteer and continues to be active in the Trenton community. In addition to her non-profit work, Tamera owned a successful furniture and design store on Palmer Square for 10 years and has built strong relationships within the local business community.

Anne Van Lent, of Princeton, is president of AMV Advisors and is a senior business executive with extensive public company board experience. She has over 25 years of experience in the creation and management of emerging growth live science companies and an extensive background in finance and management. Her non-profit board work includes The International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI), the Princeton Symphony Orchestra, and of the Arts Council of Princeton.
