Summer Study Directory Now Accepting Submissions

by Jacob Coakley

Listings are now being accepted for the Stage Directions Summer Study DirectoryStage Directions kicks off summer in January with the Summer Study Directory. The annual Directory is a compendium of all the educational programs available to actors, designers, technicians and everyone else in theatre, no matter their age. From summer camps for grade schoolers, to pre-college programs, to study opportunities for college students, to continuing education for professionals, if it happens during the summer, it can be found in the Summer Study Directory. And if your program isn’t a part of it, it should be! Organizations can submit their free listing for the Directory at trd.stage-directions.com/summerstudy.

“Summer isn’t just for summer stock,” said Jacob Coakley, editor of Stage Directions magazine. “Our Summer Study Directory is a great resource to find how students of all ages and types can add to their skils.”

All summer programs are encouraged to go to trd.stage-directions.com/summerstudy and start the listing process by registering for an account—a link to register is at the top of the website. Once registered, users can submit the info for their listing. To be included in the Summer Study Directory, users should be sure and check the “Summer Study Directory” under the “Listed In” section.
