Rose Brand Launches Scholarship Program for College Students

Rose Brand, the theatrical fabrics and drapery provider, has just launched a new scholarship program for undergrad and graduate students who intend to pursue a career in scenic design, scenic art, or technical direction. The Rose Brand Scholarship will give $5,000 to the winning student as well as a $2,500 credit to the student’s school.


Rose Brand Announces a New Scholarship Program

Secaucus, New Jersey – September 9, 2011. Rose Brand has announced the creation of the Rose Brand Scholarship Program.  The Rose Brand Scholarship is awarded to a student in the amount of $5,000. A Rose Brand credit for $2,500 will also be given to the student’s school to help enhance the theatre program. The scholarship is intended for students who wish to pursue a career in scenic design, theatre direction, or scenic art.

Undergraduate and Graduate students majoring in Scenic Design, Technical Direction, or Scenic Art during the Fall, 2012 semester (you must be beyond your Freshman year during Fall, 2012).

Rose Brand is awarding one student a single semester scholarship of $5000 and giving an additional $2,500 in Rose Brand merchandise credit to the winners school.

Applications will be due by December 28, 2011. The award will be provided for the Fall, 2012 semester.

All entries must include photos/descriptions of two projects that you have worked on, a teacher recommendation, a brief essay, and short answers to a few questions. Good luck!
