Here's a behind the scenes video from the Santa Fe Opera. Sound Designer Mark Grey talks about his sound design for John Adams' Doctor Atomic

This summer, Santa Fe Opera presented John Adams' Doctor Atomic, directed by Peter Sellars. As the countdown ticks towards July 16, 1945, and the detonation of the first atomic bomb at the Trinity Site, Los Alamos scientists confront their doubts and fears about the world-changing device they’ve created.

In addition to Mark Grey's sound design, Doctor Atomic had a scenic design by David Gropman; costume design by Gabriel Barry; and a lighting design by James F. Ingalls.
