It is a strange and trying time for all of us in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. We certainly understand times are tough for you, as they are for us. We have been proud to bring Stage Directions for free all these many years and we will continue to provide you with complimentary subscriptions during the pandemic. However, we would like to ask in these difficult times that you consider a small donation to help support our efforts here at Stage Directions as we work to keep our industry up to date by providing you with a continuous stream of current and vital information when it is needed, today more than ever, to keep us all in the theater community connected.
Josh Epstein, designer and developer of Cuelist, an innovative, digital collaboration tool for live events, would like to help people communicate during the COVID-19 shutdown. Here’s information from the company on how they can help people connect and work together more efficiently.
As designers and educators, we completely understand how hard the uncertainty of the last couple of weeks has been on the live entertainment industry and how challenging the situation looks to be moving forward. We have personally had multiple projects cancel and we are right there with you — hoping our industry will be able to come out of this soon.
We created Cuelist as a way to facilitate in-person collaboration and as a green solution for production and tech. But it also works extremely well as a unique way for individuals to collaborate digitally in real-time over long distances. As such, a number of universities have reached out in the last week to ask us about subscriptions in order to facilitate online learning and theoretical projects as they adjust and adapt their curriculum. We would like to be of help as we all figure out things together
Therefore, Cuelist is offering the following changes to get through the tough months ahead:
Cuelist is a small family-run company and we depend on satisfied users to spread the word. If Cuelist is working for you, please let your fellow students, colleagues, and collaborators know. The more subscribers we have, the more we can invest in development and continue to grow this innovative software.
Thanks for your support, and best wishes to all for a safe and healthy spring.
