[We were very happy to be able to feature Steven Sater and Serj Tankian’s new musical Prometheus Bound (directed by Diane Paulus at American Repertory Theater, Boston, Mass.) in our April issue. Steven and Serj were beyond generous with their time, and sat with our interviewer, Bryan Reesman, for a half an hour. Naturally, an interview that long, you can only put so much into print. But thanks to the Internet, you can still hear it all! Here’s the complete interview with Steven and Serj, one day before Prometheus Bound opened. The first video is 10 minutes long, and relates how Steven started working on Prometheus, and how he and Diane pulled Serj into the project. After that the clips get shorter, ranging around 2-3 minutes in length. And if you’d rather read the transcript of all the videos instead of watching, you can do that here. Enjoy! –Ed.]
