Elizabeth Theodora
SETC is pleased to announce that effective July 1st, Elizabeth Theodora (she/her) will be SETC’s new Professional Services Manager. Theodora has been with SETC since the Fall of 2019 as its Membership & Technology Manager. She managed possibly the best, most efficient, no-wait convention registration in Louisville 2020. Since, she has been instrumental in navigating the transition of our database and application system to Neon and OpenWater, completing the transition in record time and overhauling SETC’s registration system for 2021 which was a resounding success per post-Convention surveys. In addition, she paved the way for virtual auditions and callbacks so SETC could continue our services during the worst months of the pandemic. Most importantly, Theodora served on SETC’s Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Task Force, bringing her insightful personal experience and enduring commitment to creating many of SETC’s EDIA initiatives. She will play a pivotal role in making our auditions and job fair more inclusive and accessible.
Trained as a Stage Manager at The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, University of London and having worked with some of the UK’s finest directors including powerhouse Katie Mitchell, Theodora will bring the care and detail of an experienced Production Stage Manager to the service of SETCs professional companies and auditionees. SETC recently assembled an Audition Task Force to continue examining our processes and recommend improvements. Theodora has been part of those meetings and has hit the ground running in contributing to those conversations and understanding the work to come.
Theodora has already been reaching out to the Professional Division reps and professional companies to sort the best process for Fall Auditions which we will be holding virtually again as companies are still re-emerging and working to save on travel funds. Registration for Fall Auditions will open June 28. In the meantime, for the professional companies that are re-opening, SETC still has video galleries of over 1,000 performers from the Convention for purchase. For the actors, please note that video auditions do have a shelf life and get shared, so you may still get a callback or offer down the road.
Theodora can be reached at elizabeth@setc.org for galleries or any other professional services question.
