It is a strange and trying time for all of us in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. We certainly understand times are tough for you, as they are for us. We have been proud to bring Stage Directions for free all these many years and we will continue to provide you with complimentary subscriptions during the pandemic. However, we would like to ask in these difficult times that you consider a small donation to help support our efforts here at Stage Directions as we work to keep our industry up to date by providing you with a continuous stream of current and vital information when it is needed, today more than ever, to keep us all in the theater community connected.
Theatre consulting firm, Theatre Projects Consultants announces that they have hired Gina Buhler as Head of New Business Development in North America. She joins TPC from Wheeler Opera House (Aspen, CO), where she was the executive and artistic director. Before that she was the theatre director at Vilar Performing Arts Center (Vail, CO), worked in New York as an agent for The Road Company and a IMG Artists, and started her career in festival management as an associate with the Ann Arbor Summer Festival.
There are a handful of things you should know about Gena Buhler. She loves the great outdoors, things that make her laugh, and going on adventures. She’s got over 20 years’ experience in event production, venue management, and operational logistics.
She’s a great fit for Theatre Projects—and for our clients. She’ll draw on her own experience of managing capital projects, developing artistic programming, and building relationships with critical partners to help clients navigate the challenges of embarking on new endeavors. She’ll also offer expert and timely advice on strategic issues that’ll affect the project as it progresses. And she’ll be a friendly sounding board for organizations that have a great idea for creating a vibrant environment for human connections but aren’t sure what’s the best way to realize that vision. Her work will embrace all our business sectors—the performing arts, entertainment, hospitality, sports, conventions, corporate, retail, educational, immersive, and themed environments.
