It is a strange and trying time for all of us in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. We certainly understand times are tough for you, as they are for us. We have been proud to bring Stage Directions for free all these many years and we will continue to provide you with complimentary subscriptions during the pandemic. However, we would like to ask in these difficult times that you consider a small donation to help support our efforts here at Stage Directions as we work to keep our industry up to date by providing you with a continuous stream of current and vital information when it is needed, today more than ever, to keep us all in the theater community connected.
Gavin Christensen
Stagecraft Industries announces that Gavin Christensen has joined its team in the position of Dimming and Controls Specialist. An Oregon native, he attended Western Oregon University studying all things theater. From there he worked in various capacities within the industry, including most recently with the Oregon Zoo Lights 2020, a seemingly impossible event with ever-changing state restrictions. Christensen was proud to lead this project through design, construction, and installation to provide his community with a safe exciting holiday activity.
His primary focus at Stagecraft will be project management and commissioning of the many lighting projects in the region. “I am very excited to have Gavin join our team” said Wendy Hammatt, Stagecraft’s Sales Representative for Electrical Products. “Gavin came highly recommended and we are looking forward to a very bright future.”
Outside of lighting, Christensen is jack of all trades and is often the go-to guy with his friends. “I love to build or fix anything. There isn’t a project too big or too small I won’t tackle.” He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing games, and running after his son.
Effective immediately, Christensen may be reached at gavinc@stagecraftindustries.com.
