Baltimore Center Stage Celebrates Women’s Equality Day

“Forward through the Darkness, Forward into Light.” — A rallying cry of the Women’s Suffrage movement

Today marks 100 years since the amendment for women’s suffrage (ratified on August 18th, 1920) was officially certified. We celebrate this day as Women’s Equality Day!  In celebration of Women’s Equality Day and in recognition of the complicated history of the 19th Amendment, Baltimore Center Stage invites you to enjoy this video of Tracie Thoms performing We Are All Bound Up Together by Frances Ellen Watkins Harper from BCS’s Civic Programming event last week The 19th: Whose Vote Is it Anyway?
