Stage Directions • Industry News • November 11, 2020

SM Tech Friday is back!

The Broadway Stage Management Symposium is offering free programs so you can take advantage of your spare time and learn some new hard skills about new technology for Stage Managers. The next seminar is coming up on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. EST with Cuelist for annotating scripts.

Cuelist reinvents collaboration for theater and live events making annotating scripts, describing cues, sharing information, and making changes an instantaneous, collaborative, and environmentally friendly process. This session will be led by Broadway Stage Management Symposium’s Matthew Stern with Josh Epstein, the creator of Cuelist, who will demo the great features of Cuelist, which may make you never want to go back to paper and pencil again.

These sessions, which are free and open to all, will be hour+ deep dives into technology designed to serve stage managers. They will include demos, instruction, and discussion about the technology some partners have created just for stage managers. See what’s out there and how to use it to be more efficient, organized, and save time.
