NATEAC Conference Going Virtual in July 2021

Stage Directions • Industry News • January 11, 2021
The North American Theatre Engineering and Architecture Conference is being converted to a virtual event in July, 2021. “Uncertainty and risk remain in abundance and it would be extremely foolish for us to attempt a face to face meeting in July,” Conference Director, Bill Sapsis explained. “The safety of our attendees, presenters, sponsors and staff are paramount.”

Frances Thompson, NATEAC Production Manager noted, “The past 10 months have shown that virtual conferences are possible and, given the right approach, can be successful. We’re working hard toward that goal.”
NATEAC is planning to bring forward many of the excellent presentations that were set for the July 2020 event. The current COVID-19 crisis, and the live entertainment industry’s response to it, will also be discussed.
“Thank you all for your patience and support.  We’ll see you in July, says Sapsis. “Please stay healthy and safe.”
