It is a strange and trying time for all of us in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. We certainly understand times are tough for you, as they are for us. We have been proud to bring Stage Directions for free all these many years and we will continue to provide you with complimentary subscriptions during the pandemic. However, we would like to ask in these difficult times that you consider a small donation to help support our efforts here at Stage Directions as we work to keep our industry up to date by providing you with a continuous stream of current and vital information when it is needed, today more than ever, to keep us all in the theater community connected.
The Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC) has created the Theatre Teaching Collaborative (TTC), a consortium to share teaching resources and expertise. Coming up on July 15th, the TTC is offering an all-day online event of four FREE webinars led by experienced digital educators. Due to popular demand, the capacity has been expanded to 500 registrants. You may select to attend all or only one webinar. You are not required to attend all four and there will be recordings of the sessions that will be available to those who are unable to attend.
The TTC is a group of faculty friends representing most areas of theatre who seek to collaborate and create projects, assignments, and lectures to help one another and promote theatre education. Discussions have centered on the immediate future of theatre education and how we can encourage ourselves and our students to rethink how we work, create, and share. Our goals are to address how we can move forward safely and how we can maximize and share resources and expertise.
