There are a number of theater companies, individual theater artisans, manufacturers, theatrical dealers and suppliers all pitching in at this very unprecedented time of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Here is one manufacturer who is doing something to not only help health care workers, but also their own employees. We send our kudos to them for their community spirit at this very trying time!

Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC) announced on Wednesday, March 25 that they would remain open during the course of the pandemic, providing technical support to all their customers, including critical government, health, and broadcast institutions. ETC has also taken extreme protective measures to ensure the safety of their workers in manufacturing and will continue to ship its core lighting, lighting and power controls, and rigging equipment to the best of their ability, pending restrictions in the global supply chain.

In additional, ETC mobilized to design and produce personal protective equipment (PPE) for medical personnel and health care workers.
