The General Director of the San Francisco Opera, Matthew Shilvock takes you backstage to go inside the set of The Barber of Seville, opening on April 23, 2021 and runs through May 15. There’s something eerily familiar about this Barber of Seville. Set inside an imaginary opera house, this all-new production from director Matthew Ozawa draws inspiration from the real-life dressing rooms and corridors of the War Memorial Opera House.
