City Theatrical’s Wednesday Matinee… Girl From the North Country

Girl from the North Country is a musical with a book written by Conor McPherson using the songs of Bob Dylan. The production premiered at The Old Vic in London running from July 8 to October 7, 2017, directed by McPherson. It transferred into London’s West End at the Noël Coward Theatre, December 29, 2017 for a limited 12-week run until March 24, 2018.

The production made its North American premiere Off-Broadway at The Public Theater in New York from September 30 to December 22, 2018. Girl from the North Country made its Broadway premiere at the Belasco Theatre, opening on March 5, 2020 and is currently running.

City Theatrical worked closely with the creative team for the Girl From The North Country, including Lighting Designer Mark Henderson and Scenic Designer Rae Smith on the lighting and scenic solutions for this production.
