Hamilton Prop Fact | Burn Lantern

Jay Duckworth • Theatre Buzz • July 5, 2020

Here’s today’s Hamilton Prop Fact from Proptologist, Stage Directions Contributing Writer, and Professor Jay Duckworth. Here’s Number 9, creating the Burn Lantern for Act 2, Scene 41, “Burn”:

Like other theatermakers, Prop Artisans have nightmares about props that could go wrong! Duckworth shows his belts and braces approach to making sure the flame doesn’t get blown out.
