Restored Theatre Anchors Revitalized Downtown Bloomington, Ill.

Built originally to host The American Passion Play, the Temple housed a 1320-seat theatre. The Bloomington Symphony and the Scottish Rite Players were among the largest attractions, which also included Duke Ellington, Pablo Casals, Beverly Sills, and the Boston Pops Orchestra, but by the late 1990s, the hall was showing its age. Sapsis Rigging Celebrates Silver Anniversary

The company, which was begun by namesake owner/president Bill Sapsis in 1981, has been responsible for installations in countless venues around the world, including Lincoln Center, the White House and a hay field outside of London. In addition to overseeing innumerable projects, Sapsis has led over 125 rigging seminars; his company has also inspected over 1,000 rigging systems for safety purposes. Read More...
