    Stage Directions | Industry News | October 3, 2007 PHILADELPHIA — The Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia celebrated a year of collaboration and Philadelphia area theatre, Oct. 1, at the Gala Barrymore Award Ceremony. The recipients of the 2007 Barrymore Awards for Excellence in Theatre were announced in a ceremony and dinner hosted by local actors Chris Faith and Greg Wood, directed by Vincent Marini and written by Don Montrey. To get your production pictured in the December Stage Directions focus on the musical, send your pics to hsm@stage-directions.com. In order to document the phenom of all the school productions, Disney selected two high schools in Fort Worth, Texas, to perform the musical to be filmed and featured in a “docu-musical” – called High School Musical: The Music in You – airing this fall as part of a public affairs initiative in association with the NAMM Foundation, a non-profit organization that advocates for musical education.
