Finalists Announced for New Play Awards

The first-place playwright in the Harold And Mimi Steinberg /American Theatre Critics Association New Play Awards will receive $25,000. ETC Offers Student Sponsorships

Undergraduate seniors and graduate students in lighting design, theatre technology or closely related fields are encouraged to apply. The sponsorship includes roundtrip airfare to the tradeshow, which will be held November 16-18 in Orlando, Fl.; hotel accommodations; meals; a full conference pass; a student reception; and sponsorship-student-only ETC swag. “Vertical Hour” to Close in March

Public Theater Accepting Applications for Shakespeare Lab

Arizona Theatre Company Seeks Submissions
Jacob Coakley | Theatre Buzz | January 24, 2007TUCSON, AZ — Latino playwrights residing in the United States, its territories or Mexico are encouraged to submit scripts for the 2007 National Latino Playwriting Award. The deadline for new submissions is March 31, 2007. Each script will be read and evaluated by a culturally diverse panel of theatre artists. Finalists will be judged by ATC artistic staff, and the winner will be awarded $1,000.
